CHARACTERISTICS OF TRAINING
1. It is a learning
process and experience new knowledge.

organized procedure by which people improve skill for particular purpose.

of increasing the knowledge and skill of an employee for doing a particular
job.

It is a short-term learning process that involves
the acquisition of knowledge, sharpening of skills, concepts, rules, or changing
of attitudes and behaviors to enhance the performance of employees.
5. Training is the progressive process C.R. Dooley writes, “Training
is not something that is done once to new employees it is used continuously in
every well-run establishment. Every time you get someone to do work the way you
want it done, you are training. Every time you give directions or discuss a
procedure, you are training.”
6. An effective training program can make the employees of the
company work in an effective manner.
7. Proper training improves the chances of obtaining promotions
and employees are happy because they have better opportunities.
