Traditional channels for providing product information have become unnecessary. The internet and the Web have vastly increased the total amount and quality of information available to all market participants.
              
E-marketing is perhaps the most important new development in the history of marketing. Marketing is undergoing a revolution as a result of the explosion of information technology and world wide web. It is integration of information technology and internet into marketing. E-marketing is component of electronic commerce. E-marketing – is also known as Electronic Marketing or Digital Marketing. E-commerce is the use of the internet and the web to transact business. E-marketing have become popular as internet access is becoming more widely electronically based activities, including e-commerce without internet and the world Wide Web e-commerce would be impossible. Prior to the development of e-commerce, the process marketing and selling goods was a mass-marketing and sales force-driven process. Consumers were viewed as passive targets of advertising.
